2024 has been a year full of achievements for Symaga, marked by the constant activity and dedication of our entire team. We managed 696 new projects, keeping our factory and technicians busy, reaching the production of 1,750 silos, 1.250 feed silos and 500 water tanks with a total capacity of 3.8 million m³, destined for 68 countries across all continents. This success is the result of the joint effort of our 150 employees.
Our commercial team participated in 20 international fairs, with 14 of them featuring our own booth at leading events like Eurotier, VICTAM Asia, and Rice Market & Tech, among others. Additionally, significant installations such as La Mancha Farm in Spain and Port Said in Egypt were completed, while we made progress on flagship projects like UMEX at the Port of Constanta and Modern Food in Chittagong.
We completed the implementation of SGA and MES, optimizing warehouse and production management through smart digital technology, thereby increasing the efficiency and productivity of our factory.
Our commitment to sustainability remains a priority: we expanded the capacity of our photovoltaic solar plant by 200kW, reaching 800kW, ensuring that 70% of our production is powered by green energy. We maintain our medium-term goal of achieving 100% green energy production.
On a human level, we have strengthened our bond as a team through activities such as team-building exercises, a paddle tournament, a motivational talk, and the traditional Christmas Dinner. Additionally, we shared training sessions to continue improving our skills.
In line with our corporate mission to “feed the world,” we supported charitable initiatives such as Educo’s Meal Scholarships, which ensure food access for vulnerable children. We also contributed donations to Dana in Valencia and Castilla-La Mancha. Locally, we continue to support activities in our hometown, Villarta de San Juan, and collaborate with high schools, Chambers of Commerce, and business associations.
2024 has been a record-breaking year, setting the stage for 2025, which will be very special as we celebrate our 40th anniversary. We will pay tribute to our founder, Alfonso Garrido, the driving force behind SYMAGA, to our employees—the true backbone of the company—and, of course, to our customer, not forgetting our suppliers and the entire community.
